Lancelot has been a privately owned business for 50 years. In 1988 the company incorporated to become Lancelot Janitorial & Paper Products, Inc.

Owner George Sonia began his career with the previous owners as a stock person, truck driver, shipping / receiving manager and office manager. It was those work experiences that earned George his professional understanding of the janitorial and paper supply business.

During the history of Lancelot, the company had been located at buildings in Lynn and Revere. In 1999 Lancelot Janitorial & Paper Products, Inc. purchased a 6000 square foot building at 451 Lynnway in Lynn. The new building offers a warehouse / showroom with plenty of parking on the 23,000 square feet of land. Lancelot's sales have significantly grown every year, and today it has an inventory of over 2500 items.
